JSC «Ukrainian Railways» was looking for a reliable and high quality SMS service provider capable of providing fast and guaranteed delivery of transactional messages throughout Ukraine.
As a monopolist in the field of passenger rail transportation, JSC «Ukrainian Railways» serves a significant number of customers on a daily basis who purchase tickets through the specialized application JSC «Ukrainian Railways»: Train Tickets. The authorization process in the application requires the use of one-time passwords (OTP) sent to the user's phone.
Thus, to improve the quality of customer service and ensure the prompt provision of OTP passwords, the company needed a reliable partner to send SMS messages across Ukraine
SOLUTION:
Seamless SMS API integration for excellent service.
To improve the authorization process for JSC “Ukrainian Railways” customers, we implemented an SMS notification service through the official communication channel using the registered name of the railway company.
SMS messaging is the most effective method for quickly delivering one-time passwords (OTPs) to customers, allowing them to access their personal accounts. This capability enables passengers to purchase tickets from anywhere in the country for future travel
Decision Telecom's platform provided SMS API integration (https://decisiontele.com/documentation/) for individually targeted messaging, as well as full reporting on message delivery, allowing for monitoring the conversion of OTP availability for passengers. Over the past month, we have been working intensively on this integration with “Ukraine Railways”.
The project demanded high standards for SMS delivery speed, quality, and data storage security. Our dedicated team of IT developers met these challenges head-on, successfully setting up API integration and launching the SMS messaging service in record time.
